You are having an event, now what ??  How do you know if you are hiring a successful photo booth business when you search online or pick up the phone …

 

The photo booth business in Kansas City is booming, but not all photo booth businesses are created equal. 

As a successful photo booth business owner; it’s very important that we offer a customized, creative service that is unique and different for every client and guest to enjoy.

I just happen to be one of those people who literally have trouble stopping.  I’m always looking for ways to become better,  by improving all-the-time.  Staying still or not changing is next to impossible for me.
Here are a few suggestions to look for when renting a photo booth for your upcoming event.

Successful Photo Booth Businesses  …

Are Creative:

To give your event a competitive edge, think outside the box, literally. Consider renting from a photo booth business that is different, offers originality, and allows your guests an array of creative, funny, and unique props specifically tailored to you, your guests and your event.

 

Are prepared for every event:

As a successful photo booth owner, my job is to make sure I have everything prepared by keeping in contact with my client, every step of the way. Event details are discussed and arrangements are made ahead of time to ensure there will be no issues on the actual day for the event.  Arriving early allows plenty of time for set up, and to snap a few test shots by adjusting the lighting as needed.  Bringing extra supplies, such as rolls of paper, ink and batteries are a staple for every successful photo booth business.

 

Provide only the Best Service:

A successful photo booth business strives to ensure your photo booth experience is running smoothly with every single guest having fun.  I’m not there as your event guest. I’m there to operate the photo booth.  My promise to each of my clients is to be present, professional and come dressed appropriately for any occasion.

Not All Photo Booths are created equal

With the ever-growing popularity of photo booths.. So are the props. After all, no wedding or event is complete without them. Photo booths aren’t only fun for the guests, they’re also fun for the business owner too.

As a business owner, It’s critical to me; that I be aware of what’s hot, what’s exciting and what people want, while maintaining a professionally clean and sanitary environment.

Do you find yourself asking .. how clean and sanitary are these props ??

After traveling to local area venues, such as weddings, schools, corporate parties and charity events, all those silly props need to be cleaned.  Not only because of the entertainment they provide but more importantly, because of the memories they help produce.

Below are a few basic tips to ask, the next time you want to rent a photo booth. 

  1. Prop sanitation is a must.
    We like to use Sol-u-gard solution and wipes because of their disinfecting qualities and are all natural.  In our business, make up can easily get on masks or other props that are held close to the face.  It is vital that our accessories and staging areas be cleaned and disinfected after every event.  Sol-u-gard is my “go-to” cleaner that I trust. It’s simply the best cleaner I’ve ever used.
  2. Props that fit the theme of the event. 
    Whether you are planning a Red Carpet Affair or a Night at the Races,  having a large inventory of theme props to pick from will help make the experience unforgettable.
  3. Personalized props.
    Do you have a special theme ?  Having props that are relevant and unique to you, offer opportunities that create a whole new level of fun, for you and your guests.
  4. Prop table stay organized.
    Photo booth’s are exciting.  Often that excitement leads to props breaking while being thrown back onto a disorganized prop table.  A well organized table, makes it easier to choose which items you want to have fun and be creative with.
  5. Props that are trending in pop culture.
    You can’t throw a great event without a spectacular photo booth and props, that’s just a fact. Enjoying items that are current and relevant to the times is key to the overall experience.

Think Outside The Box …

Photo Booths are a great way way to Think Outside The Box-

Local area Animal Shelters in Kansas City are dedicated to helping homeless pets. Pets in rescue groups are primarily fostered in individuals’ homes rather than at a shelter.  Social Media Sites like Instagram and twitter make is very easy to keep up with your new best friend.

Every dog has unique and interesting personalities. It’s hard to capture that special personality on camera. If you could Think Outside The Box and explore different options .. wouldn’t it be great if every rescue animal was able to find their forever home?

With the help of Professional Photographer Guinnevere Shuster the mastermind behind these amazing, creative images. The Human Society of Utah came up with the most incredible idea in order to help find new homes for their harder-to-adopt dogs by placing them in a photo booth, letting them “cheese it up” for the camera. The results were hilarious, heartwarming, and most importantly…effective!

The clever pup-photoshoot was such a success, all the furry friends were adopted!

I’m happy to announce the launch of my new company InstafunKC Photo Booth. If you have a wedding, bar mitzvah, high school charity or corporate event coming up, I’d love the chance to bring a little more fun to the mix. And, there’s nothing I love more than a charity event. Keep that in mind.

We’ll meet to tailor the booth to your event’s theme and your budget needs. I’ll customize the backdrop and even supply props specifically for you. It’s an experience that will leave your guests smiling even after they go home.
